Learn More About the Features and Design of the Next Generation Front Tool Box
The front tool box on the Zone RV Sojourn and Peregrine models is a new product that was introduced with these models. It is not sold separately and is exclusively fitted for these models.
What is it made of?
The next gen Zone RV front tool box is made from composite materials, in-house at our Coolum composites facility. We have engineered this tool box to be lighter to offer more storage space. The tool box is coated in a rubberized tough coat designed to deflect any rocks or debris that may come from off-road travel.
Design features
Some key design features of the front tool box include what we call the "dirty storage area" at the front of the box. This is designed for you to put any items such as sullage hoses, firewood, and fire pits without creating a mess inside any other compartments. This can be easily washed out if needed. We have also engineered a jerry can holder to set directly behind the power jack that can be locked for security. Gull-wing doors open upwards for easy access, and the single dividing shelf internally keeps gear organized. The rubberized coating is designed to protect from stone damage, and the angled front is designed to deflect stones downward. The access on the right side houses 2 x 4kg gas bottles.
Internal Shelving
There is a shelf inside the toolbox to use with your smart storage options, storage boxes, or canvas bags. This is located on the passenger side. On the driver's side, you will find the mounting point for the gas bottles and the connection hoses for the bayonets.
What is the internal volume of the tool box?
The toolbox has an internal volume of 1,100L.
Can you mount items on top of the storage box?
There is a positive lock storage system on the top of the tool box that runs on both sides for the length of the tool box.
Please note that the front tool box is only fitted for the Zone RV Sojourn and Peregrine models and is not sold separately.
