      How to prepare your tow vehicle for your new Zone RV - Safety Dave Mirror Fitment

      Vehicles that don't fit the kit provided

      A car-side camera kit for your Safety Dave camera must also be installed into your tow vehicle. The kit is included in the purchase price of your Zone RV, but installation will need to be completed by your preferred installer at your cost.

      Before you arrive to pick up your Zone RV on handover day, you will be sent a Safety Dave camera kit to set up in your vehicle so you can monitor the rear camera of the caravan. The kit will be automatically sent to the address on file unless you would prefer to collect the kit on handover day and install it later. Due to stock levels, the earliest we can send the kits is once your van moves onto the production line.
       

      Safety Dave has informed us that their camera display screen, which is mounted to your rear vision mirror, doesn't fit some car makes and models. To help you understand if your vehicle is compatible, please check the list below: 

      Vehicles Mirrors Won't Fit

      • LC 300 series previous to 2023 models
      • 200 series Sahara, 3rd model and some GXL's
      • N80 Facelift model that are Rugged, Rugged X or Rouge. Some MAY fit but will be snug
      • 150 series & later models
      • Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2-4. (WK1 will fit)
      • Ranger PX2-3 that are Wildtrak, Raptor or custom. (All next Gen models fit)
      • HSV Sportscat
      • BT50's. (UN-TF will fit)
      • RAM TRX, Laredo, RAM Box (1500,2500,3500)
      • Tundra 
      • F250 late models. Platinum, Outlaw, King Ranch
      • F150 late models
      • F350 late models
      • F650 most models
      • Silverado 
      • Amarok and Toureg will fit, but tilts down. Next Gen do fit
      • Early model Land Rovers don't fit (Late models will fit)
      • F-Pace late models
      • Y62
      • Navara 2020 STX
      • Pajero Sports 

      If your vehicle is included in this list, Safety Dave suggests you work with your local auto electrician to find a solution to receive the video feed into your alternate displays.
