A Guide to the ENERDRIVE Inverter System Upgrade and CZONE Universal Remote Control
Off-road ZONE RV models come with an upgraded inverter system, the ENERDRIVE ePower 2600W EN1126X Inverter, and the ENERDRIVE ePRO Inverter Charger - EPC 3000-12. Understanding these systems can help RV owners make the most of their off-road trips.
The ENERDRIVE ePower 2600W EN1126X Inverter is located under the lounge seat base. When connected to mains 240V, the inverter automatically turns on as all 240V runs through the inverter. When free camping and not connected to mains 240V, switch off the inverter to save power, as it consumes 1-1.5amp.
The ENERDRIVE ePRO Inverter Charger - EPC 3000-12 is also located under the lounge seat base. The front panel can be divided into four sections, including the dual-function level bar, mode indicators, charge status bar, and power on, off, charger-only switch.
The ePRO Universal Remote Control, located in the overhead cupboard, has eight functions, including the device mode indicator, device type indicator, intelligent rotary controller knob, backlight button, LCD parameter field, power button, alarm indicator LED, and power indicator. Using the universal remote control, RV owners can monitor the inverter and charger functions, change numeric values, activate or deactivate the backlight of the LCD, and turn off the ePRO device.
When using a generator with the EPC 3000-12 Combi and you wish to run high load 240V appliances such as an A/C unit, you will need to change the input current to 3 Amps. To make this change, press the black selection knob once and make the change down. If no other loads are on your AC side, set the max to 8 Amps when on the generator and 15 Amps on the mains supply. This should still give you 120 Amp charge and should not overload the generator.
In conclusion, the ENERDRIVE Inverter System Upgrade and CZONE Universal Remote Control are essential components of off-road ZONE RV models. It is essential to understand these systems to make the most of their off-road trips. Refer to the product manuals and seek professional help when necessary.
