Understanding the padlock icons on your RedVision screen and initial setting during production of your ZoneRV caravan
Another great feature of your RedARC RedVision system is the ability to use the main power button as a 'Master Switch'. This function will isolate pre-configured consumers to turn off as a group. Saving time on exit from the van and ensuring your battery will not be depleted if an appliance is left on!
Pushing the Power Button TWICE will invoke the 'Master Switch' function, when used with a TVMS power distribution system. This function switches a defined set of devices and can be customised, by the installer, to user specifications.
During installation of your caravan electrical system, the Master Switch function is programmed to lock all soft key functions except for the Fridge and Inverter (where fitted)
When ACTIVATED:
- Active soft key function icons will change from green to grey and a small padlock will appear
When DEACTIVATED:
- Active soft key function icons will revert back to green
Additional features of the Power Button:
- Pushing the Power Button ONCE will open a Power Button instruction dialogue and allow switching between Storage and Touring modes.
- HOLDING the Power Button will put the screen into Standby mode. Pushing any button will wake the screen up again. When the system is set to 'Storage Mode' only the Power Button will wake the display up.
TIP: Changes can be made to the Output Channel Configuration via the RedVision configurator APP. Details can be found on Page 32 of your RedVision manual, please note warnings publishes by RedARC in regards to fully understanding changes to configurations set by the authorised installer. In case of accidental configuration changes, screen shot your current settings and keep a record just in case!
