What is covered by the Zone RV Warranty?

In your contract terms and conditions, several general points are outlined regarding Zone RV's liability and the coverage provided under the Zone RV Warranty.

Firstly, it is stated that the repair or replacement of the part/s is the maximum extent of Zone RV's responsibility. Additionally, any parts and labor required to rectify a defect covered by the Zone RV Warranty will be provided free of charge.

Zone RV is committed to repairing defects covered by the warranty using parts of similar quality. In some cases, they may also opt to replace parts or utilize refurbished goods of the same type and quality. However, it should be noted that Zone RV is not liable for any loss of time, inconvenience, or other losses resulting from a defect. The warranty solely covers the repair, replacement, or adjustment of the Van if it has been determined by Zone RV to be defective and covered by the warranty.

If a Van or Part is delivered to Zone RV or a Zone RV Approved Service Repairer for a warranty claim, and it is found to be free from a defect covered by the warranty, Zone RV may seek to recover the cost and expenses incurred for inspecting, investigating, and testing the defect from the Owner.

The Zone RV Warranty explicitly excludes coverage for regular service costs, maintenance costs, and wear and tear items. These items are considered to be unrelated to defects in factory materials or workmanship.

In situations where the Van is used in harsh conditions such as beach and off-road environments, or extreme climatic areas, or if careless and reckless driving habits are exhibited, additional or more frequent maintenance services may be required. The costs associated with these maintenance services, as well as the repair or replacement of certain items, are not covered by the Zone RV Warranty. This includes regular service costs, the repair or replacement of tires, the repair or rectification of paint damage, lubricants and washers used in services, body rattles and squeaks, brake adjustments, wheel balance and alignment, normal wear and tear of floor, wall, and ceiling surfaces, and superficial cracking, delaminating, and crazing of the exterior fiberglass skin and exterior surfaces associated with normal wear and tear.

Zone RV Warranty Period

The Zone RV Warranty Period extending to the installation of Supplied Parts will differ for each Supplied Part and from the separate warranty from the manufacturer or importer of the Supplied Part.

The table below sets out the Zone RV Warranty Period from Practical Completion and reference to the Supplied Parts which carry a warranty period specified by the supplier of that part (OEM). Lengths of time provided by the OEM may change from time to time and are outside of the control of Zone RV. Zone RV provides no warranty or representation that the periods of time of Supplied Parts won’t change.
